Introductory Program (IP)

Introductory Program - Free for new skaters

This is a “learn to skate” program focused on teaching the basics of hockey skating. This program is typically for the young skater (ages 4-8) and is open to beginning skaters who reside in the Neenah, Menasha, Hortonville, Shiocton, and Winneconne school districts. The IP program is funded in part though a grant from the Red Smith Sport Award Banquet and primarily through the generous donations of our members and community sponsors.

IP meets Thursday nights from 6pm-7pm.

This program runs in two 8 week sessions (one starting in October, and the second starting in January). You can attend either one of the sessions or the full 16 weeks. While the first 8 week FVYHA session is free, there is a USA Hockey registration fee of $50 for children over 6 years of age. Rental equipment is available, if needed, for $50. Any sessions after the 1st session are $50 each.  Email for more information!
